The Continuous Craft Show

What joy in showing off a recently finished craft! What relief in finding someone who can help you work out a crafting problem! Joy, relief, pride, grief - let's exhibit them all here as we share crafts in all forms. Food, paper, wool, glass, metal - whatever the medium, we can show our finished projects and our works in progress, as well as share advice and feedback.

Recent Crafts from Christina

I thought I'd post a couple of the things I've gotten done recently - the newest completed project is this sweater for Susanna, my newest little neice. I'd hoped she'd be a girl, because I was in a very unlike-me girly-girl mood and had soft pink yarn on hand - so, this little sweater was born. It has little rosebuds around the collar.

For my own home crafting, I spent the last few weekends painting. We have a color called "Shimmer" on most of the kitchen/living room now (it's like a peach/cream) and a color called Teak (which is what I'd call Terracotta) in our eating nook.

I had my purse sitting on the kitchen table, and it looked so nice I decided to make placemats from my leftover fabric - they are double-sided, with one side the stripey fabric and the other the suede - hopefully it washes okay!

In other entirely non-crafting news, we finally bought the truck we've been shopping for! Here are some pictures of it, in the twilight:

Doesn't it have a nice smile?
